As a clinician-educator who routinely treats—and educates others about—neurological conditions (dementia, stroke, Parkinson’s disease), allow me to break the bad news to Biden supporters everywhere: the reports of Biden’s demise are neither a political ploy nor a strategy to sell books. In fact, his declining physical and mental status have been maligned for years across hospital break rooms, clinician discussion boards, and the boujee coffee bars of academic conferences.
